Chair massage is a type of massage therapy performed while the client sits fully clothed in a specially designed portable massage chair. Sessions typically last between 10-30 minutes and focus on the back, shoulders, neck, arms, and hands. It's perfect for workplace settings, events, and situations where a traditional massage table isn't practical.
You can wear your regular clothing! Chair massage is performed over clothing, so there's no need to change or disrobe. We recommend wearing comfortable, non-restrictive clothing. Avoid clothing with excessive buttons, zippers, or decorations on the back that might be uncomfortable during the massage.

Each massage chair requires approximately 6 feet by 6 feet of space (36 square feet). We need a relatively quiet area away from heavy foot traffic. The space should have good lighting and, ideally, access to electrical outlets (though not required). We can set up in offices, conference rooms, hallways, event spaces, or any area with adequate room.

While chair massage is generally safe for most people, we recommend consulting with a healthcare provider if you have: recent injuries or surgeries, severe osteoporosis, blood clots or clotting disorders, infectious skin conditions, or acute inflammation. Pregnant clients should inform the therapist, as certain techniques and pressure points will be avoided. Our therapists are trained to modify sessions based on individual needs and health conditions.
We follow all current health guidelines and best practices. Our therapists maintain excellent hygiene, including hand washing and sanitizing between clients. We sanitize all equipment and high-touch surfaces. We can accommodate mask requirements as requested by clients. Face cradle covers are changed between each client, and we use fresh linens throughout the day.
Yes, chair massage can be safe and beneficial during pregnancy, particularly in the second and third trimesters. However, pregnant clients should inform the therapist before the session. Our therapists are trained in prenatal massage modifications and will avoid certain pressure points and techniques. We recommend clients consult with their healthcare provider, especially if they have any pregnancy complications.
Please inform our therapist of any health conditions, injuries, or concerns before your session. Our therapists are trained to modify techniques and pressure based on individual needs. If you have serious health conditions, we recommend obtaining clearance from your healthcare provider before receiving massage therapy. We're committed to providing safe, comfortable sessions for everyone.
